Sandy Beach Wildlife Refuge – North Moultrie

Sandy Beach is easily accessed from Angel’s Landing to the west or Henderson Guerry Landing to the east.

About the Trail

While the back bay area of Sandy Beach offers a very pretty section for exploration, the front beach area provides for primitive camping as well as a good swimming beach and access to the wildlife viewing trails. The 600 acre wildlife management area provides for bird watching, photography and wildlife observation on its many hiking trails from 1 March through 1 November of each year.

In addition to primitive camping, Angel’s Landing Campground, Restaurant, & Marina and the Econo Lodge in St. Stephen are nearby.
